Update to Services Provided During COVID-19

With the enactment of Executive Order 20-91 by Governor DeSantis, the Clerk’s Office is now limiting in-person access to our operations effective April 6, 2020. Please note that most of our services are available through our website. The Clerk’s Office will continue assisting citizens in person for a few specific services as required by law.   Please read more to see how you can conduct your necessary business with us without physically visiting our office.

For those services not being provided to walk-in customers, there are several different ways to interact with the Clerk’s Office without physically visiting our offices.  Below is a summary of the best ways to obtain the necessary services:

  • Courts:
    • Baker Acts, Marchman Acts, and Injunctions for Protection – If you need to file any of these types of cases, you are encouraged to call our office so that we can schedule a time for you to come in to obtain the proper paperwork for processing.  You must have a government-issued photo ID.  Please call 352-754-4201 to get in touch with the proper department.
    • ePortal – Court case documents that need to be filed with the Clerk’s Office can be done by visiting this website:  http://www.myflcourtaccess.com.  There are several online manuals available to assist filers with getting an account set up.
    • Payments on Traffic/Felony/Misdemeanor cases – Payments on cases can be made on our website by going to the following webpage:  http://10.1.200.235/court-services/criminal-traffic-payments/.  If you are on a payment plan and are having difficulties making your payment, please call us at 352-754-4201
    • Payments for Mediation – Payments for Mediation can be made over the phone by calling 352-754-4201.
    • Jury – Jury summons will continue to be distributed in anticipation of this pandemic coming to an end.  At this time, all Jury Trials are postponed through April 17, 2020, by Administrative Order A-2020-12-B.  If an Order is issued that revises that date, we will update this information accordingly.
    • Court Case Information – You can search court cases on our website.  If you have any questions about your case or upcoming trials or hearings, please call us at 352-754-4201 or utilize our Online Customer Contact Form at:  http://10.1.200.235/contact-us
  • Official Records:
    • Marriage License Applications – We are processing marriage license applications by appointment.  Please go to the online Marriage License Kiosk on our website to begin the application process: http://10.1.200.235/marriage-licenses.  After entering your information, you will receive a transaction number.  Please review our Marriage License webpage to ensure you are familiar with the required steps before being issued a Marriage License.  Once you have your transaction number, please call our office to schedule an appointment at 352-540-6768.
    • Marriage Ceremonies – Marriage Ceremony Services are suspended until the expiration of the Executive Order.
    • Recording of Documents – We encourage people to mail documents if at all possible.  There are also online solutions that we integrate with for electronic recording.  E-Recording is done through several third party vendors and a list/link to those companies can be found on the following page under “E-Recording”:  http://10.1.200.235/recording-information
    • Walk-In Customers – Customers who must walk in documents will be required to remain in the lobby while their documents are being processed.
    • Tax Deed Sales – Tax Deed Sales are currently handled online and will continue to be held.  Please view our Tax Deeds page on our website for sale dates and other Tax Deed information.
    • Passport Application Services – We are suspending all passport application services until the expiration of the Executive Order.
  • Spring Hill Customer Service Center:
    • Our Spring Hill Customer Service Center will be closed to the public and handling most of our phone traffic at this time.  Should you need one of the services offered by our office, please call 352-754-4201.
  • Financial Services
    • Civil Restitution Lien Order (CRLO) Payments – You can call the Financial Services Division at 352-540-6788 for assistance or you can mail the payments to:
