Our office has received an influx of calls reporting a jury scam. They are sending an official looking summons with the clerk seal, and they call you stating there is a “pre warrant” for you and to avoid being arrested you should pay a fine.

Please do not fall victim to these scams always remember the clerks office nor the sheriff’s department will ever require you to pay a fine for failing to report for jury service. We do not have that authority.
