Good afternoon everyone!  

We have received a few calls today stating that they have received a text message stating they were the Clerk’s Office and they had not paid their citation and to click a link as the final attempt to pay your ticket.  Let us assure you, the Clerk’s Office is not currently utilizing this type of technology AND when we do, it will be on an opt-in service.

There are many of these types of scams going around, ranging from Jury Duty to unpaid traffic tolls.  PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THESE TYPES OF SCAMS!!  When in doubt, please give us a call if it is related to our office and we will be happy to assist, but wanted you all to be aware of the scam.
