Juvenile Dependency
The dependency section of the Clerk’s Office handles cases regarding children who are abused, abandoned, neglected, at-risk, or children in need of services. Dependency clerks assign case numbers and court dates, prepare court dockets and attend hearings, issue summons and pick-up orders, and maintain and dispose of case files according to Florida Statutes.
No information may be released over the telephone. If you are a parent, guardian, or attorney of record, you must present a picture I.D. to obtain information or view a juvenile case file. If you need further assistance, please visit the Judicial Center of the Hernando County Courthouse.

Juvenile Delinquency
Juvenile Delinquency of the Court Services Department is located within the Family Law Division on the 2nd floor of the Hernando County Courthouse, 20 North Main Street in Brooksville.
Please note that delinquency records are maintained as confidential under Florida Law and no information on delinquency cases may be released over the telephone.
If you are the juvenile, parent, guardian, or attorney of record, you MUST present a picture I.D. to obtain information or view a juvenile case file.
