Public Records Requests
The Hernando County Clerk of Circuit Court & Comptroller maintains a wide range of court records and other documents. Public records held by the Clerk of Circuit Court & Comptroller are available upon request for inspection or copying pursuant to Florida Statutes, Chapter 119.07. Many of the records maintained by our office are available on our website at no cost. (Please note that if you need a certified copy, you will need to contact the appropriate department as indicated below and a fee will be involved.)
You are not required to submit a public records request if you wish to obtain a copy of documents from an existing Court Case or from Official Records.

If you are looking for Official Records such as deeds, leases, mortgages, notices of levy, or any other items pertaining to the ownership of real or personal property, you can search here or email the Official Records Department through our Contact Us page.
