The following types of cases are included in the case search



Code Case Category Examples
AP Appeal from County Court Appeals from the County Court to the Circuit Court
CA Circuit Civil Mortgage Foreclosures, Contract Disputes, Malpractice, Products, Liability, Eminent Domain,etc
CC County Civil Civil actions where plaintiff(s) seek(s) less than $15,000 in damages
CF Felony Criminal cases with Circuit Court Jurisdiction such as: Grand Theft, Aggravated Battery, Burglary, Murder
CO County Ordinances Animals Running At Large, Open Container of Alcohol, Code Violations
CP Probate Estates, Trusts
CT Criminal Traffic DUI, Driving While License Suspended, Flee/Attempt to Elude Police, Leave Scene of Crash
DR Domestic Relations/Family Dissolutions of Marriage, Child Support, Paternity, Name Changes, Domestic Violence/Repeat Violence Injunctions
GA Guardianship Guardianships
IN Non-Criminal Infractions Non-Criminal offenses such as hunting, fishing, boating, and juvenile tobacco violations
MM Misdemeanors Criminal cases with County Court Jurisdiction such as: Petit Theft, Trespass, Battery, Criminal Mischief, Possess Marijuana if less then 20 grams (Includes non-criminal, non-traffic violations)
MO Municipal Ordinances Animals Running At Large, Open Container of Alcohol, Code Violations
SC, SP Small Claims Small Claims and most eviction cases. Claims $5000 or less.
TR Traffic Infractions Non-criminal traffic violations (Includes non-criminal, non-traffic violations, like boating, hunting, fishing, juvenile tobacco cases)

**Criminal cases are public record with the following exceptions:

  • The case has been sealed or expunged by court order
  • The record would reveal the identity of a victim of sexual battery or a related crime
  • A warrant issued in connection with an indictment or information is still active (unless the warrant remains unserved for one year or longer)
