As some of you may be aware, the Clerk’s Office has implemented Landmark, a new official records system! You will notice the changes when you “Search Official Records”; the site offers helpful hints when searching and provides easier access to the information you are seeking. The new web page is much more user friendly and if you need assistance there is a user guide available on the disclaimer page. We appreciate everyone’s patience with us during this new and exciting time and we hope you enjoy the new look and feel!
As some of you are aware, the Recording Department is implementing a new software very soon. The department will be closing at 4:00 pm Wednesday, November 13th, to test the system and make sure everything is working properly before it is implemented. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience. If you have any questions, please contact the Recording Department at (352)540-6768. Thank you!
Our office is pleased to announce that we will soon be going live on new recording software. The Landmark software will replace Aptitude Solutions’ Acclaim software, which has been in place since 2010.
After an extensive review process, our evaluation committee selected Pioneer Technology Group for the new recording software. Pioneer’s glowing references and ability to meet our demands for product functionality, procurement budget and future support enabled us to move forward with securing up-to-date software that will improve our processes and service to the public.
The Landmark software includes electronic recording, scan-first imaging technology, digital document stamping, flexible workflow, complete financials/cashiering, index/verification and search capabilities, as well as Web tools that provide instant, secure access for all constituents.
For those of you who have escrow accounts with us, the new software will allow you to review your account balance online, directly from our website. Our office will be holding two training sessions on Thursday, October 24, 2013; the first from 9:00am – 11:00am and the second from 3:00pm – 5:00pm.
We hope you are as excited as we are about the new software. This change will allow us to continue our efforts in meeting the needs of our customers while providing efficient and cost-effective service. If you are a regular customer and would like to schedule a training time please contact Samantha Haun at (352)754-4711 or at email@example.com.
Thank you and have a wonderful day!
Don Barbee Jr.
Clerk of Court & Comptroller of Hernando County
